2018 Accord speculation - Turbo 4 to replace 6 cylinder

Japanese Magazine has rendered another possible new Honda, this time the next generation Accord scheduled to appear as a 2018 model.  It's clear they used the new styling of the 10 generation Honda Civic as inspiration.

Big and obvious rumor is the addition of turbo power.  Will Honda put the new 2.0 turbo in the Accord and drop the optional 6 cylinder?  Will it continue to use the CVT, or offer the new 10-speed automatic Honda has developed?

Here is a fun photoshop of a convertible Accord Coupe.  Convertibles are a very small market outside of rental company cars in California, Florida, and Hawaii; but this would be a fun option to compete with the new Buick convertible and the Audi A3 cabriolet.

Dave L. Rogan, AC, 1st Squadron recalls:  "On May 28, 1945, General A.W. Kissner, Chief of Staff, 21st Bomber Command, wrote to General Keller Rockey, Fifth Marine Division, that as a token of respect and appreciation of the great contribution made by the Fifth Marine Division in the taking of Iwo Jima; they desired to name a new B-29 for the them, and to inscribe the Division Insignia on the plane.  Our crew was selected for this honor and crew 11A was proud to have a new ship named “The Spearhead”. The brass of the Fifth Marine Division and the 9th BG got together and had a dedication ceremony on Tinian, August 17, 1945. About 100 Marines including their band took part. “The Spearhead” also took part in the ceremony. All in all, it was fun, and since our crew led many missions, “The Spearhead” was an appropriate name. The 1967 model Nova is from the second generation which ran from 1966 through the 1967 model year. The Chevrolet Nova had been known as an economical and compact car.
